Faculty of Nursing, Khon Kaen University Welcomes Representatives from Texas Christian University and James Madison University under the IAPP Thailand 2025 Program
On October 29, 2025, Associate Professor Dr. Amponpan Theeranoot, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Khon Kaen University, warmly welcomed Ms. AnneLiese Busch from Texas Christian University (TCU) and Prof. Dr. Corey Hickerson from James Madison University (JMU) during their visit to discuss future academic collaboration and to observe the faculty’s teaching and learning activities.
The visit is part of the International Academic Partnership Program Thailand (IAPP Thailand 2025), organized by the U.S. Embassy in Thailand, in collaboration with the Institute of International Education (IIE) and the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation. The program aims to foster academic partnerships between higher education institutions in Thailand and the United States.
During the visit, the delegates explored the Virtual Simulation Laboratory and the Special Unit, which are key learning centers for developing nursing students’ clinical skills. This visit reflects the shared commitment of all institutions to promote academic collaboration, knowledge exchange, and capacity building in nursing education.
The activity aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly:
- SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being
- SDG 4: Quality Education
- SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals
This collaboration marks an important step toward advancing international nursing education and promoting sustainable academic partnerships.
