Dr. Maliwan Silarat completed her Ph.D. in Nursing Science at the Faculty of Nursing, Khon Kaen University, Thailand. Her research, which employed both quantitative and qualitative techniques, focused on cardiovascular and critical care nursing. Her professional experience includes working in critical care nursing, cardiovascular diseases, health behavior, and care throughout the illness continuum. Some titles she has authored are “Perception of Symptoms and Symptom Management of People with Acute Myocardial Infarction,” “Factors Associated with Postoperative Length of Hospital Stay of Older Patients Undergoing Coronary Artery Bypass Graft,” and “Prisoners’ Perceptions of the Healthcare Service: A Qualitative Study.”
