คณะพยาบาลศาสตร์ มข. ตอกย้ำความร่วมมือวิชาการ เปิดรั้วต้อนรับนักศึกษาพยาบาล Griffith (ออสเตรเลีย)
เมื่อวันที่ 17–18 พฤศจิกายนที่ผ่านมา คณะพยาบาลศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น (มข.) ได้ตอกย้ำความร่วมมือทางวิชาการระหว่างประเทศ ด้วยการเปิดบ้านต้อนรับคณะนักศึกษาและอาจารย์จาก Griffith University ประเทศออสเตรเลีย เพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์การพยาบาล
กิจกรรมในโครงการแลกเปลี่ยนระยะสั้นนี้เริ่มด้วยการบรรยายพิเศษเกี่ยวกับการพยาบาลชุมชนในประเทศไทย โดย ผศ.ดร.ลัฆวี ปิยะบัณฑิตกุล (มข.) และการให้ความรู้ด้านสุขภาพด้วยวิดีโอสำหรับผู้ป่วยมะเร็ง โดย Dr.Elisabeth Coyne (Griffith)
นักศึกษาทั้งสองสถาบันได้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมกลุ่มในห้อง Simulation Lab 4 ฐาน ครอบคลุมด้านการพยาบาลผู้ป่วยวิกฤติ การพยาบาลผู้สูงอายุ การพยาบาลเด็ก และผดุงครรภ์ เพื่อฝึกทักษะการพยาบาลที่สำคัญ ก่อนจะเดินทางไปศึกษาดูงานที่โรงพยาบาลศรีนครินทร์ และโรงพยาบาลธัญญารักษ์ ขอนแก่น
การแลกเปลี่ยนครั้งนี้สร้างโอกาสให้นักศึกษาได้เปรียบเทียบเทคนิคการดูแลผู้ป่วยและแลกเปลี่ยนความเข้าใจด้านวัฒนธรรมอย่างเป็นกันเอง ถือเป็นการยกระดับมาตรฐานการเรียนการสอนของ มข. ให้ก้าวสู่การเป็นสถาบันระดับสากลอย่างแท้จริง เขียนข่าวเป็นภาษาอังกฤษ
Khon Kaen University Reinforces Academic Partnership, Welcomes Nursing Students from Griffith University (Australia)
The Faculty of Nursing at Khon Kaen University (KKU) reaffirmed its commitment to international academic collaboration by hosting a delegation of students and faculty members from Griffith University, Australia, on November 17–18. The visit served as a platform for exchanging experiences and knowledge in nursing practice.
This short-term exchange program commenced with specialized lectures. Asst. Prof. Dr. Lakawee Piyabanditkul (KKU) presented on community nursing in Thailand, while Dr. Elisabeth Coyne (Griffith University) shared insights into health education for cancer patients through video content.
Students from both institutions actively participated in group activities held across four stations in the Simulation Lab. These sessions focused on essential nursing skills, covering critical care nursing, geriatric nursing, pediatric nursing, and midwifery.
On the second day, the group broadened their practical understanding through site visits to Srinagarind Hospital and Thanyarak Hospital Khon Kaen, providing exposure to clinical settings in Thailand.
The exchange provided a significant opportunity for students to compare patient care techniques and engage in mutual understanding of cultural differences in a friendly atmosphere. This successful collaboration strengthens KKU’s educational standards and reinforces its role as a truly international academic institution.
